2 year old blinking a lot while watching tv

So I'm a bit concerned! Two days ago my child was watching tv and out of nowhere she started blinking a lot and scrunching up her nose. At first I thought it could be eye strain as unfortunately the room was a little dark. So I turned off the tv and tried to think nothing of it. The next day as soon as I turned on the tv she started blinking and scrunching up her nose and I'm getting nervous about it.

Its important to note that she has no problems seeing things at a distance usually and doesn't do the whole blinking thing in any other situation.

I'm planning on getting a referral by the gp but has anyone else been through this or have any information?

Thank you for reading!

Thanks for your reply, is it when they are watching a screen that it happens?
