20 month old boy constantly going for his bits...

Not sure how else to put this, but my son is always grabbing quite violently at his bits whenever he gets the chance. Whilst dressed he never touches that area, but get him in the bath or when nappy changing, and he's constantly pulling on it.

It's not the fact he plays with it that worries me, but the fact he's really rough about it. He's my first boy so I have no point of reference.

Is this normal? It's not red or angry looking like an infection, and as I said he doesn't seem bothered by it whilst clothed. He's been doing it for as long as I can remember.

Completely normal. Its a love affair from the cradle to the grave 🙄

Yep, totally normal. He won’t hurt himself don’t worry. Ah the joys!!

I'm just worried because he actually makes it red after he goes at it. But it's his own doing.

He had really bad eczema when younger, but now well under control. He doesn't have any active eczema in that area and it's just when he has access to it.

Even after his eczema settled down he did have a bit of a compulsive scratching tendency, so I'm very aware of this stuff Confused

It's quite normal, op.

Very normal. Nothing to worry about.

Sounds like a typical boy Grin
