Purple skin

Hi,

I was just changing my little girl (3 months) and noticed that she looked quite purple all over her body, for around 5 minutes from when I noticed. Shes gone back to normal now and it's too late to call the doctors. I was wondering if anyone has an idea what this could have been?

did you check her temperature? maybe she was overdressed and hot, and when you changed her, she cooled down, and the skin returned to normal.
