My child has this near her elbow. Both the doctor and chemist say it should go away on its own but it's so unsightly and I feel sad for her. Does anyone have any tips for getting rid of it?

My DD had it under her armpit and down her side when she was 5. We were told to leave it but it showed no signs of going anywhere. We got molludab and it worked wonders.

Ds had it and it went by itself inside 12 months. His was covered by clothing during the summer. I may have got treatment if it was visible.

My daughter had it round her bum and back of her legs for around 18months. Not bad though, I saw a friends little girls who had it in very very large clusters all up her arms.

My daughter used to scratch them and they'd occasionally get infected, especially in the nappy area and I would just bathe them and sudocrem. I almost tried Molludab after hearing and reading amazing reviews about it but hers just weren't visible and literally the odd couple of spots

Hi
One of my kids had this for ages really severe on his arm and back. We waited to see would he outgrow it but didn't. My Gp gave be a name of a cream it was absolutely brilliant it is called ' Conzerol' . You can't get it on prescription from your GP however u can buy it online. Its is quiet expensive over 100 euro nearly if I remember between delivery etc, now we needed to buy it a few times but it was brilliant, it is a brown ointment so leaves bad stains on clothes. My son is free of them a couple years now and they have never returned absolutely brilliant stuff so worth it

This stuff works. Wash one, leave for a min and wash off, gone in a week.

My son has this too. started with 3 tiny spots now a lot more and much more unslightly/angry looking.

I am trying different things; manuka honey on some, sudocrem on others and coritsol mouthwash on a few more (as it is an antibacterial and was in the cupboard).

We are on day 3 and so far the cortisol mouthwash seems to have had the best result as those look a little calmer. Sudocrem is the next most effective with manuka making him quite miserable as it needs large dressings after application.
