Plagiocephaly advice and experiences

Can anyone offer any advice about the above? My 3MO is being referred to see a paediatrician as he has flat back of head on one side and the front of his head is also bulging. He was forceps delivered and has a preference to turn right. We have been moving his head and encouraging him to look left, lots of tummy time and being carried to try to correct the back of head issue which we noticed from 2 months and only noticed the front of head issue last week. I've also noticed that his face looks asymmetric in a mirror. Hardly ever gets play mat or bouncer time to limit issues with the back of head flat spot. Just so worried that he's going to carry the deformity into child/adulthood and will get bullied or suffer low self esteem. Considering booking a private appointment considering the wait we'll probably have at the hospital.
