Swollen lymph nodes in child's groin

Hi, I am just wondering if anyone has had a child with swollen lymph nodes in their groin and it's been nothing? My daughter is 4 and mentioned 2 days ago she had a sore bit there. I've checked, and they are swollen on both sides. Can anyone reassure me? I am going to make a doctors appointment of course.

Heehaw thank you! She's absolutely fine which making me worry more 😔 of she had a bug or virus it would make more sense.

My dc had this earlier this year - gp said they can swell in kids from ordinary infections (colds etc). In this case it was actually from suddenly starting to fight off molluscum which had been lurking for a while.
They were v reassuring and really didn't sound like they expected it to be anything scary.

Thank you Ariana that's good to hear.

My little girl often had lymph nodes in her groin. We went to the docs and we were once sent to A&E and the doctor checked her over and took blood but everything came back fine. The doctor in A&E said it doesn't help as she was so skinny 🤦🏼‍♀️ and they often can show up on the more slender children!
