Is it possible my 9 week old is teething?

The last 3-4 days my 9 week old (11 from due date) has had very fractured night sleep, discovered her thumb and fist and keeps sucking and chewing them, rubbing her face and ears constantly and drooling a lot. She’s having much quicker feeds and yells at the boob when she shows signs of hunger - she’ll feed best when dopey and just won’t take it if she’s getting a bit tired.
It seems ridiculously early but I know it does happen, but her gums do feel a little hard. Is it possible she’s teething? Has anyone else had this? I’m really careful with naps and sleep so think it’s unlikely a tiredness issue and we breastfeed on demand, at the moment I’m worried she’s not going to get enough.

Thanks for any thoughts!

NDN's daughter ws born with a tooth already in place and all those 'points in time at which x' are only approximations [sp?].
Did you have a feel inside the mouth?
