Lip won't heal

Hi, my son fell over a week ago and badly hurt his lip, ever since it's doesn't seem to be healing and getting worse if anything. It's very swollen. He's complaining alot how bad it is. I'm wondering whether to contact the Dr about this or if there is anything that they would be able to do. Thank you

It looks like a blood blister to me

Signs of infection include being warm to the touch, pus draining out of it, and red tissue around the blister. I would try it see if you can get it Checked
