Any advice or experiences greatly appreciated.
I received a call from a midwife yesterday to inform me my baby (17 days old) needs a further heel prick test to investigate the possibility of cystic fibrosis and I’m a wreck with worry. He’s my third and has been a dream so far.
No history of CF in either family that we know of.
Has anyone had a little one who has needed further investigation & turned out to be ok? Our appointment isn’t until Monday (and goodness knows when the results will be back) so it feels like a long wait to be so worried.
