Low testosterone

Hi

Does anybody have experience of a DS with low testosterone? My 14 yr old DS has an accelerated paediatric referral on Thursday for a testosterone level of 1 and other physical symptoms. I want to reassure my son, but do not know what to expect. Some of the potential diagnoses are quite serious. I haven't told my DS this, but he is googling. He's really dreading the physical exam. Do any of you wise women have any words of wisdom and experience? Thank you.

DS checks daily for any hair growth but not a single hair anywhere, he even had me check with a magnifier last week!
