Best way to use Epiduo

My teenage daughet has just been prescribed Epiduo for acne. Her dermatologist told her to use a pea sized amount at bedtime. I would very much appreciate any advice on the best way to use the cream.

Yes a pea size at bedtime. My 10yo used it for a week but it burned her skin. She now has a great regime of the ordinary face wash and moisturiser in the morning and sudocrem thin layer on t zone over night.
