Just that.

We’ve tried everything (I think?!)

Seen the doctor who prescribed Senokot but to be honest I do actually think some of this is behavioural. He can’t be bothered to go to the toilet when he feels the urge (he’s actually admitted that in the past!) The senokot does make him go, but he tries to ignore that and ends up with a messy accident Sad

That said, he has said that he “doesn’t always feel it”. I was thinking of constipation and poo leaking round etc (yes, have been on the ERIC website, as well as spoken in great depth with a paediatrician).

I’m absolutely at my wits end with this. Can anyone offer any ideas? Please??!!

My 5 year old goes through phases of this and his is due to impacting bowel with not going regular, I make sure he eats enough fibre, drinks enough, and give him prune juice regular as that helps instead of relying on medication, as that can affect the muscles around the Bowel, cause sometimes my son has to run to the toilet due to it, it just comes on him suddenly,

Thank you! I might try and make him drink prune juice, but the problem is he’s a fussy little bugger too! Kids! 🙄🤣
