My syringe has two lines - help?

Can any HCP tell me which line on this syringe is the marker? DD has a medicine to be taken at night and this is the first time I've used it.

Looks like it’s just shy of 2.5

The numbers are mills, the medicine will have the dosage on the box

The pointy bit isn’t the marker it’s the flat bit of the plunger so atm you would be administering more than 2ml. You need to push the syringe up a bit until the flat bit touches the 2ml mark. Hope that makes sense

The first black seal should be on the volume line you want

So it's the top line? I don't know if it's clear by photo but there are two black lines on the syringe. The top line circles the bottom
of the plunger and the 2nd line is just below.

you need to measure from the bottom line (top one in your picture) of the plunger.

(I assume that's what you mean by 2 lines)

Once you use it you'll see that the line closest to the pointy end is the right one - you line that one up to the right measure, so either 2.5 or 5ml

Not a hcp but the line closest to the point of the black rubber in syringe others the incorrect amount would be drawn.
