For the last 5 or 6 months, my daughter (2.5y.o) has had about 10 episodes where, after eating or drinking something slightly cold (been in fridge), she shivershard as if she's freezing. Her lips go a little purple, she is covered in goosebumps, clenches her teeth and her whole body quivers. It normally lasts about 10 min. She is totally alert and often continues chatting but the shivering frightens me. I wonder if its blood sugar related, cold related or more neurological. I know we will need to see GP about it, which we are, but I woneered if anyone has had similar experience. Thanks.
