Baby has upset stomach

My baby is 10 months old next week, she's had diarrhoea since Monday night, several very runny nappies a day and smells very bad! Like vomit! Spoken to the health visitor who says it can be caused by teething, she got her first two teeth, the top two with no problems, she now has quite a few coming through at once and her cheeks are red, she's not sleeping as well at night, apart from that she's still her usual happy self, it's just this upset stomach that's worrying me. Does anyone know if it's normal?

Was totally normal for my two especially my first born. As long as she's happy and hydrated then there's no cause for alarm despite all mothering instincts telling you otherwise.

Thanks @Ancara.

Was normal for mine too, their nappies always smelled awfully sour when they were teething and gave them horrendous nappy rash as well as the red cheeks etc!

Yes, teething caused strange, vinegar-y smelling stools with my first baby. Can’t say I noticed it with the second.

Thanks, still loose watery foul smelling nappies today, this has been going on since Monday night Sad

You might want to make a GP appointment. Teething could be a red herring and it might be a bug.

Thanks, yeah I'm going to phone GP surgery in the morning x
