I have a 6 month old little boy who’s been teething for a while, he has now cut two teeth at the bottom, the whole families been full of a cold all week and now me and my partner are better but my little boy is still a bit off, this last week it’s been a real fight to get anything down him, we had just started weaning but he won’t entertain solids at the moment I spoke to GP who said not to worry about solids for the time being and just give him his milk, he is acting hungry and when I give him his bottle he has a little then pulls off it crying and throwing himself around, it’s gone from taking around 20 minutes to feed him 250ml to taking about 45 minutes and only getting him to have 90ml I’m feeding him more frequently as I’m concerned he will get dehydrated so he isn’t losing out on too many oz of milk and he is having regular wet and dirty nappies but I’m starting to get a bit stressed about it, feel like I am force feeding him, do you think this is because of his cold and teething and I should wait and see if it picks up or do I need to take him to the GP?
