What could these spots be on my sons face?

Hi

My son 15m has developed a spot on his nose bridge and top lip overnight. The one on his cheek he’s had about 7 days from looking back through photos.

Nursery have asked I get him seen by a doctor. Doctors won’t see him and I’m waiting for a call back but guessing it’ll be hard for them to diagnose without seeing them. Nursery are worried it’s Chicken Pox.
I’m a FTM and have nothing to compare it to other than internet searches.

He does not have a temp, hasn’t had a high one for a month (he’s checked throughout the day at nursery and last time it was high, a month ago, ended up with us having COVID tests- negative). His appetite is fine, if not more hungry than usually, sleeping no more/less than usually, nappies normal for him, running around and seems fine. Had nursery not mentioned anything I would have thought it’s due to him being a bit sweaty due to the weather.

The only other thing is we’ve recently, in the past 7 Days, bought him a new face cloth/mitten thing (shaped like a fox)

There’s no other spots on the rest of his body

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Wonder could it be a mild case of CP. My daughter at 11m had similar, maybe two spots on her face like that. We're assuming it was CP because it was doing the rounds at the time and because despite many exposure occasions she hasn't had it since (age 6 now).

Otherwise toddlers do get random spots that come and go!
