Asthma, covid, dreaded cough

Around this time of year my daughters asthma starts to trigger with the colder weather setting in.
Obviously she has gone back to school and not having really mixed with a large amount of children for the past 6 months she is now exposed to all-sorts of germs which will effect her possibly worse as her immunity may have slightly weakened... is anyone else fearing this and Has anyone experienced COVID with an asthmatic child?

My sisters kids 8,5,3 have all be taken out of school as her little girl 5 and boy 3 have been coughing the last few days. They have the flu but had to be tested for COVID however came back negative. In turn once results are back they needed a GP letter to the school stating they are fine and it's not a Covid related illness
