Ds fell and bumped his head this morning he has a nasty looking egg at the front of his head just above his eyebrow. Hes been acting his usual self all day.. cried for maybe 5 mins after it happened and when i put ice pack on it. Bump hasn't got any bigger but his gran (partners mum) is saying I should take him to hospital so worrying now if I done the wrong thing by not taking him and should I take him now? Unsure what to do.. should I take him to the hospital??

how did he bump his head?fell over & bumped on something?
or fell down stairs?
I suspect that you are talking about normal falling over -in which case - he hasn't been sick or is sleepy & is eating normally?
You can always reassure yourself with ringing the non emergency number

If he is acting normal then that's a very good sign. Confusion, lethargy, repeated vomiting, irritability and a very tender spot or any misshapen mess to the head is an immediate red flag. The symptoms that are normal for toddlers (irritability 😁) you just have to judge if it is more than normal
