Hi, just posting here as I don't know if I'm worrying over nothing. My little girl came home from nursery today and when I stripped her off for her bath, I noticed this sort of rash on her.. It has grown in the last couple hours.. (could be nothing) sorry for bad photos she is sleeping at the moment. If anyone can be of any help or reassurance thank you

Is it just one spot or is there more? How is she? Is she her normal self? Normal nappy's?

Mammaaof · 27/08/2020 21:13

@TeenMummy only one spot at the moment it has definitely got bigger, tbh when I bathed her I thought it was just a scratch from nursery, she's always falling over! She's toilet trained in the day but she has been going, bit teary today but put that down to long day at nursery x

Is there a tiny dot in the middle, looks like it might be a bite going red. Watch it getting any bigger or redder in case its infected.

Mammaaof · 27/08/2020 21:28

@Morechocmorechoc no tiny dot in the middle 😔 feels swollen tho she told me when she was awake that it was hurting tho x

Get a marker and draw around the area! In a few hours check again to see if it has gotten bigger

It's a bit of a funny shape. Rashes , bites etc tend to produce marks that are more rounded. Could she have bumped herself or fallen over onto something diamond-shaped?

Marcipex · 28/08/2020 14:21

It’s quite square...could she have fallen over something or been jabbed with something square at nursery?
You did say she was a bit tearful.

Wow must have been really bad. Sorry you had to deal with that but sounds like she's nearly better.
