Does this look like a cat allergy?

Hi all
My 20 month old woke up with this 'rash' on Saturday morning it's like a cluster of 9 on his shoulder a few on his back, 2 on his arms and one on his shin. We were staying at my mums house who has cats, we've stayed everu other weekend since he was born. He doesn't have any other allergy symptoms. It's calmed down a lot first photo is Saturday second is today. He has no temperature & is fine in himself. This is the first time it's happened
Any ideas? He's not itching either so I didn't think would be bites

How is he today OP? My first thought was flea bites but as you say they're usually insanely itchy. We have them at moment (thanks Dcat!) and my DS is being driven mad by them. They're all in a cluster too which also points towards some sort of bites. Bed bugs, I'm not sure but I'd imagine they're usually itchy too. Not chicken pox as I can't see anything blistery about them Confused sorry that's not helpful.

@doublethecuddlestwinmum thank you for your reply! Oh no sorry to hear that :( is he having any antihistamine?
They've faded and flattened today and no new ones have come up, and still not itching. I don't think bed bugs or fleas as indoor cats?! I took him to ask the pharmacist yesterday who said most likely an insect bite, I guess we won't ever know!

These look like bites of some description rather than an allergic rash - midges, fleas, bed bugs?

I get bitten by midges sometimes when out for a walk and my bites look very much like this.

Also I find it takes a day or two for the bites to appear like this after I've actually been bitten.
