My baby boy has had quite a severe case of cradle cap which we treated by softening with olive oil and combing the flakes off (along with most of his hair!). We used dentinox to wash off the oil but it seemed to make his skin very dry after use.
Since then it seems to be coming back along his hairline and in the bits with thicker hair. We've been using dentinox since Tuesday and his scalp is so dry. I'm not sure if it's drying out his skin so much it's making it return or this is just the process and it will get better as the skin breaks down? I have a few threads from posters saying it didn't work for them, was this the reason why?
