Before lockdown my daughter was overweight (10 st). I noticed weight gain over lockdown, so was expecting the number to go up, but she had a doctor's appointment today and I was shocked when the doctor said she weighed 13 st. She is now very overweight and in the 99th centile. Both myself and my husband are key workers and have been working more recently, making it easier for her weight to shoot up. She is the only one in the family with weight issues. She didn't even seem bothered. She doesn't know when to stop eating and refuses to join the rest of the family for exercise. Her two siblings have always been a healthy weight.
