Ds 12 has had a ear infection now for 10 days plus. First lot of amoxicillin (1 week) did nothing after it initially eased for a couple of days and after a very uncomfortable night last night we were seen at GP again this morning. He's now on clarithromycin twice a day and they've sent off a swab but is in absolutely agony tonight despite paracetamol and ibruprofen. Tried a heat pad that hasn't helped and I'm out of ideas. It's completely unlike him to be sat sobbing in pain.
