Mild Cerebral Palsy

I was just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of mild cerebral palsy? For years I thought my child had the symptoms of Dyspraxia but recently his physio report came back to say he had very tight calf and hamstring muscles, externally rotated hips and plantar fasciitis. He has always ‘out toed’ and drags his feet when walking. He also runs on his tip toes and leans forward. He struggles with fine motor skills such as writing as his hand hurts too much after a short while. He has behavioural problems hence him being in a special school. His speech has always been delayed and When he was born They noticed a sort of ‘dent’ Above his rectum which they said to keep an eye on but nothing else was ever mentioned.
I have no experience of Cerebral Palsy but just wondering if I could rule this out and go back down the route of getting him assessed for Dyspraxia?

Hi @emmapemma91 what you have written has really resonated with me! Just wondered if you have any updates on your DS? My DD is being investigated for coordination, speech and language issues and I have always thought it was dyspraxia )plus DLD or something) but the Ed psych has mentioned possible mind CP but I’m struggling to find anyone with a similar presentation to her. It’s all so confusing! Would be great to hear what you’ve found out 😀.
