Double jointed

Hi everyone.
My 12 yo boy is double jointed and it kinda scares me a lot. We haven't been to the doctor for that but not sure if I need to take him at all? Any advice

It's not double jointed. It's hypermobility. There are exercises you can do with him to strengthen him and limit the pain he might get from it. A referral to an OT may help you.

Thank you! Everyone keeps calling it double jointed so I thought that's what it was. I'll speak to his GP to do referrals when they start them again.
