Benign paroxysmal torticollis

Hi my son is 6 months old and been diagnosed with benign paroxysmal torticollis. I just wondered if anyone had any experience or tips that helped their child?

He can roll but prefers to roll to the right, I'd say 95% of the time he goes right. He has the typical episodes of tilting to either side then times where he looks absolutely fine. He will tolerate being on his stomach now but isn't pushing up with his arms which she said to encourage but I'm not sure how to encourage him to push up? I'm waiting for some information to arrive via post. He can't sit unaided yet but it's early for that and when he has a tilt episode obviously harder to balance himself.

Any stories or advice or tips would be good. Specific things that helped, a carseat that would be comfy for him. We are already changing the high chair as the one we have has inadequate head support for him.

Thank you
