Hi all,

Hoping someone is able to help? I noticed a paler than usual area of skin on my little boys belly (about an inch or 2 below the ribs, right in the middle) and when I ran my fingers over it he has a pea shaped lump.

I had a phone appointment with our doctors and he just said to observe it for a few weeks - I feel like I want him to get seen sooner rather than later.

Would you say this is a good reason to take him to the children's hospital? I'm not usually so over the top but I don't want anything to go undiagnosed.

Does anyone have any similar experience?

Thanks so much in advance!

What does it feel like? If bony hard may well just be the xiphisternum (lowest bit of the breast bone that comes down below the ribs and can stick out)?

Thank you @nocoolnamesleft It's not hard. It's like a gristly lump.
