Eczema and impetigo

My almost 3 year old has what the dr says (by video consultation) is impetigo. She came up in a few blisters on her fingers, bum and inside her ear which popped easily and the skin underneath won't heal and is peeling.
She's been put on an antibiotic (oral) which we've only had two doses of, and we were told it would take 48 hours to kick in so not expecting miracles yet. This morning the other blisters on the worst affected finger have popped and the wound is huge and smells under the plaster we used to help her sleep. I know the antibiotics will do their work, but is there anything else I can do in the meantime?
It's not really crusting over anywhere, just peeling off.
She has eczema which is currently mostly under control and we use eumovate at the weekend to keep away. I obviously won't use that cream anywhere near those affected areas.
Has anyone else had a situation like this?
The dr said the only thing I need to call over the weekend for is high temp/unwell in self or rapid spread of new lesions. But the state (and smell) of her infected finger is making me nervous!
