11 month old - milk alternatives

Hi,
My 11 month old daughter is only drinking 9oz of formula a day. I have her on vitamins now. She eats A LOT of food and is a big baby. I am just wondering what are the best cheese/yoghurt snacks to give her to make sure she is getting enough dairy.

Plain Greek yoghurt would be a very healthy option. I wouldn't offer cheese if she's already a big baby as it's quite high in saturated fat.

I agree, babies tend to love the taste of full fat plain Greek yoghurt, until they discover sweetened yoghurt and fromage frais and then they won't touch it! so I try to keep them off the kids stuff for as long as possible.

She doesn’t need any dairy. Why not continue with the formula if u want to give her dairy though- it’s far more nutritious than cow’s milk

Ah great - I will limit the cheese and offer natural yoghurt. I wonder how much per day?

I would give her more formula but unfortunately she is not bothered by it.

My son refused milk from the same age so did loads of Greek yogurt. His 5 now and still won’t drink it

From 1 year she needs 350mg of calcium a day.

Great - I shall do that then! It is so difficult to know how much of everything they should have! She does have a very healthy diet - lots of veg, different meats and fish, fruit - and either potatoes or pasta each day. But I have worried about the milk!
