Red ‘strings’ in my 2 year olds poo

My toddler has had red in his poo this morning and then this afternoon he had red string like things in his poo, Has anyone else seen this in their child? I’m not sure if I’m being paranoid or if it’s something I should worry about, I will try to add pictures to the thread

Has he eaten tomatoes? Tomato skin shows up as red

If its blood he is most likely constipated and has got a fissure

Red pepper skins?

Kimmjames · 21/06/2020 19:25

He had tomatoes Wednesday, and in the first poo it does look like this yes, but in the second poo it looks completely different, I’m trying to figure out how to upload a photo as it’s hard to explain but I can’t see where to upload, and nope he’s not had any red pepper, I don’t think it’s a fissure as it seems to be actually in the stool, rather than around it

Worms?

Chickoletta · 21/06/2020 19:29

Worms.

Kimmjames · 21/06/2020 19:34

Would they be moving if they were worms? as they’re not so I don’t think they are, they’re a deep red/brown too, really frustrating that I can’t add a picture
