Tick bite

I had what I thought was a small scab on my leg. Noticed it about 3 days ago, tbh I really dont pay that much attention to my body. I assumed it was a cut from shaving my legs. However this morning it was itchy and I noticed it was bigger so I scratched it off. Wasnt until said scab started crawling that I noticed it was a tick. I feel perfectly fine, just a small swollen area where it but me. Health anxiety has kicked in now though and I'm imagining the worst...do I need to contact my GP??

Just google what to look out for in case of Lyme Disease but unless you are in a part of the country where ticks have it, you are likely to be fine.

Useful link here

DS came home with two ticks last year after a trip to Scotland. He was fine, though we watched him and his bites very carefully for symptoms for a couple of weeks.

Thank you for your messages.
I'm in Scotland 😂 I checked out the links, thank you. Guess I just have to keep an eye on the site and for flu symptoms.
