Hi,
14 yo DD was prescribed antibiotics by the dentist on Tuesday (over the phone). She started complaining of a sore gum over the weekend and said it felt like it was swollen and tasted weird. It's hard to see what's what as she has a mouth full of metal braces which are long overdue for review and I think are probably the source of the problem.
Anyway, she's nearly half way through the five day course of ABs but there is no improvement whatsoever. Just wondering when ABs would kick in if they were going to?
I'm thinking to call the dentist again tomorrow if not better. Can anyone advise in the meantime please?
