3 year olds immunisations

We’ve had the message through that recently turned 3 year old has got his pre-school boosters.

We’ve been told, the adults have got to wear masks, but he hasn’t. Has anyone had any immunisations in lockdown? Did the nurse wear full ppe? I don’t want him to be too freaked out so I’ve been role playing with him.
Also how many injections is it at this one?
Thanks in advance

Hi Ya
it is the pre-school booster given at 3y 4m, one injection as long as 2nd MMR already given - but this depends on where you live. Check the red book.

Nurse will likely wear mask, apron, gloves and maybe a face shield - they will have been vaccinating a lot of children so will know how to deal with your child, try not to worry and just explain what will happen to your child so it is not a surprise. Hope all goes well.

We’ve just been to ours. Everybody was wearing masks, including my 3 year old.
2 injections, one in each arm.

Had ours a week ago. 2 injections, one in each arm. MMR and a 4 in 1 which included polio.
We didn't wear PPE but the nurse wore a mask. It wasn't scary at all for them, she was very friendly
