Travel sickness in two year old

Hi all not sure if health is the right board...
We are about to love cross country and we have a very nearly two year old who copiously vomits in the car on long journeys. Fun times.
Anyone got any good drug free remedies they’d recommend?

some people swear by these bands, they are meant to put pressure on part of the dc's wrist which stops them feeling sick

Travel bands do seem to help a bit (although may be partly psychological...), travel at night (or nap time) so that child sleeps, open windows for air, encourage looking out of the windows (play eye spy etc.), distraction (songs, games, music), ice cold water to sip, dry snacks only... Learn the warning sounds of an impending vomit so that you can pull over! Also suggest keeping a bucket/bowl in the car for if you can't stop. We use an old seaside bucket as a rubbish bin in the back of the car - doubles as a vomit-catcher :)

Ok vomit catcher and acupressure bands! I’ll try both. Thanks
