Looking for advice on what this could be on my daughters lip. She hasn’t seen anyone during isolation apart from myself and partner (and hospital staff with masks) and neither of us have coldsores. Could it be impetigo or an allergic reaction? She was in hospital a couple of weeks ago but everyone had masks and gloves. We can’t get in to the doctors for a few days and it seems to have gotten worse, it’s been there about a week but I just thought it was dry skin until this morning when it’s gotten much worse? TIA

ooh poor thing! Not sure, but unfortunately it's in the right position for both. In either case you have to be careful not to infect anywhere else. You could try those coldsore patches to try and keep it covered until you can get a diagnosis? If DD can stand to keep it on without fiddling with it! GL x
