Retracting foreskin DS age 11

Hi, sorry for the rather delicate subject. My DS aged 11 has been unable to retract his foreskin to wash for a while now. He says he used to be able to but the the skin tore very slightly and since it's healed it it won't stretch. Is this something that is likely to rectify itself during puberty or do you think he may need medical treatment? He is very embarrassed and reluctant to show a gp. His puberty book tells him he should be pulling it back to wash underneath. Thanks

Common issue he needs to go to the Gp and they will operate

Might not need surgery. Depending on cause, might be solvable with gentle stretching and mild steroid cream.

Don't ignore this, he needs to be seen by the GP.
