She doesn't have a temperature. She keeps doing it every so often though. I've had a look in and there's no redness either. Contemplating taking her to the doctors as I don't want her having an ear infection and it becoming worse? She's been in the paddling pool allot recently. I thought maybe it could be water also?

Does her ear smell? My son had loads of ear infections and the affected ear always smelled bad. He tended to get them when his ear got wet - its very common in kids as their eustachian tubes are horizontal and don't drain properly (especially if they have a cold.) As they get older their eustachian tubes get more vertical and they don't tend to get ear infections.

No no smell or redness or swelling. I've rang the doctors and they're giving me a call back. I don't want it getting worse if it is. I also wondered if it was because she was tired.

Throat infection?

Don't think it's her throat. She's eating well.
