My 5mo has recurrent utis. He has been in hospital twice already and I suspected another this week - did a urine sample for GP and it came back positive. She prescribed a three day course which began Thursday PM but he still has a temperature of 37.3 (I know this isn’t classed as a fever but he still feels warm to touch). Surely the antibiotics should have kicked in by now? He’s under follow up at hospital but everything’s delayed at the minute. I don’t know what to do - shall I continue antibiotics until Tuesday when we can ring GP? He’s happy in himself.
