First time mum and new here! My DS is only 5 weeks old and for the last 10-12 ,days he has had red tiny bumpy spots all over his face (started off as 1 or 2 and then just errupted!) They are now all over his neck, face, ears, head and now even spread to top of chest. I am so worried and concerned no idea what to do about him, the walk in centre recommended oilatum which i used and maybe it made it worse? Defo not better, the GP then said its eczema and gave some antibiotics for the bad bits and a diff moisturizer for rest of his spots. Does anyone have any idea what this is? Is it definitely eczema or could it just be baby acne? Whats the best treatment as I feel guilty slathering creams on his face :/, also it does look a little better when hes asleep and its cool so hes abit paler, and will skin to skin make this worse as i am BF (exclusively) except 1 bottle feed was formula that I gave him long after this all started and was just a one off. any help would be GREATLY appreciated as I'm at my wits end!
