Over a year ago 6 year DD fell over and didn’t put her hands out and landed on her mouth. Following this she has a gum boil above the tooth where she fell and the tooth became a little discoloured. We saw one dentist who prescribed antibiotics and said to come back if nothing has changed. It hasn’t so we went back and saw a different dentist who said it was nothing to worry about and the tooth would soon fall out and the adult tooth should be healthy.
The baby tooth is still in and the gum boil never went away but this week I’ve noticed it looks very white and feels like a tooth! Pic attached.
Do I need to take her to a dentist ASAP? I’m not sure if they’re currently running normal service and I would also have to take a younger DC with me if we have to be seen.
