7 yr old DD developed body odour?!

My 7 yr DD seems to of developed body odour and I'm really confused as I don't remember developing body odour myself until around 11/12.

Her odour is honestly like she has just hit puberty or something! She has no other signs of puberty, just the body odour which she claims she's had for a little while now (just before she turned 7 apparently)

Now I've googled and it's scaring me, I will obviously book a GP appt just in case but is this normal?!

I think so. My 7 year old has, too. They don’t shower or bath every day but are leaping around every day so it’s to be expected.

My now 10yr old DD odour started about 7yrs old. I panicked too as wasn't expecting it. However she is in routine now of using deodorant and all fine. No other signs of puberty though. Think all should b ok with your DD.

Ah thank you! That's reassuring to know. I've ordered some natural deodorant just in case, but tbh I don't think she'll need to use it too often as this is the first time I've smelt it and she claims she's had it for a few months now.
It's been incredibly hot today so I think that's what has made it smell worse.
