Hi, my baby has what looks like a rash, he does have a slight bit of eczema but this looks more blotchy. Does anyone have an idea?
Thanks 😊

DD has eczema and it’s more like dry red patches of skin, whereas this looks like little tiny spots so I’d say it’s probably a rash. Have you changed washing powder or soap or anything?

But a glass on if to make sure it disappears underneath to rule out meningitis

However a viral rash has been doing the rounds, can be accompanied with high or low temp, goes on its own in 4/5 days.

Could be heat rash too which would go quite quickly onece the skin has recovered (tomo am)

You could cut out soap and swap to non biological washing powder. It might help the rash.

Thanks for the replies everyone, not changed washing powder or anything or use fairy tablets and fairy fabric softner, I use aveeno baby in the bath and have recently got hydracurtazone cream and centraben for his eczema of the doctors.
