My son cut his lip almost a year ago. It healed beautifully I was so thankful. However, as he grows the stitches that were beneath the surface of the skin seem to be coming to the surface and a criss cross effect has been left. It looks more noticeable when he smiles. Will this eventually grow out or will he be left with this mark forever? I feel very bad that I didnt insist that they were removed. They took ages to dissolve. Anyone else been in this situation?
