DS eczema has flared up these last 6 months and now it is round his eyes. We were prescribed mild hydrocortisone cream twice a day, then moving to once a day, then every other day and finally every 3 days. It works until we get to 3 days and then it's back.
I know steroid creams can thin skin around the eyes so dont want to start it up again without GP advice. This is too minor to be going to GP at this time. What have other people been recommended ( we seem able to keep his other eczema in control with infrequent steroid use and lots of emollient but some emollients seem to irritate his eyes.)
