Lump on dd's gum (photo attached)

Hi, there's a lump on my 8yo's gum, it's just above a wobbly tooth that seems to be taking abnormally long to fall out.
Her new tooth has grown behind it. Has anyone seen this before? Is it an abscess?

It looks like the new tooth as far as I can tell. Once the old tooth has made way it will fall into place

Just showed this to my sister who is a dental nurse and she said it looks like an abscess or gum boil but oral thrush and the cold sore virus also sometimes looks similar. She also said if they got that picture from a patient they would definitely get an emergency appointment.
So call her dentist tomorrow morning was the advice

Looks like a cyst or abscess and it does require treatment either way. An abscess will require antibiotics, a cyst needs removal or will keep coming back

If it’s painful it’s most likely and abscess if not probably a cyst, although that may also indicate some tooth decay
