Can anyone help please. Ds2 is 4 month and ff. for the last maybe week or so he has been having loose stools. To the point I'm having to completely change his outfit he seems absolutely fine in himself, a bit more grumpy than usual at times but due to being in the middle of a development leap. Could he be teething? Could it be his milk? Could he have a allergy? With all what's happening with lockdown atm I'm unsure should I ring gp, try the health visitor, are they even working?

It could be teething.

Is he showing any other discomfort? Pulling his knees up? My DS went through this for a couple of weeks at around 4 months and it was the start of teething, soon stopped though.

I'd still phone your health visitor just for some advice but I wouldn't worry unless he's showing discomfort

Thanks for your reply @maa1992. He's been really gnawing at his hands and been rosey cheeked. Other than that he's been fine, no tummy ache or anything.

Teething can give hellish “shit to the shoulders & knee” nappies.
