Diarrhoea or not? 7 week old

Need some experienced opinions: 7 week old DS has produced more dirty nappies today than in total in the last week. Since my milk came in it had been usual to go 24-36 hours between dirty nappies, but there have been five today. All small quantities and no change in colour or consistency.

He is well in himself, feeding fine & happy to nap/lie on the play mat/be cuddled. I haven’t checked his temp but will do so later just in case.

No longer seeing my HV in person due to Coronavirus measures but I can still probably call and leave a message. However I don’t want to if this is normal! Any advice?

Is it still same consistency - not watery? Or mucousy?

If it is just more than usual - but essentially the same consistency then probably just everything in working order.

Are you breast feeding - if you are then sometimes what you have been eating can have an effect on them - so if you've had say lots on onion or something then that can knock on your them.

It’s a little watery @FanSpamTastic but such small amounts.

I am breastfeeding, haven’t had anything unusual over the past couple of days, it’s been quite a bland diet for me really as my anxiety is through the roof and my appetite is rubbish right now.

He is still fine, just feeding to sleep at the moment and he is very calm. I’ll see how he gets on overnight.
