Returning from Spain - Self isolate?

MIL en route home to UK from Spain. Unsure whether she should be self isolating? And if so, for how long?

definitely yes please for all our sakes.

even if she didn't have contact with any active cases there, she will have been breathing the same air as countless potential cases in whatever modes of transport she used for the journey.

I would advise 2 weeks. there was government advice for 7 days earlier on the crisis but honestly I think they were picking a low figure to minimise disruption. 14 days is a more reasonable timescale for expecting symptoms to emerge.

Yes I actually thought 7 days but DH said 14 so I think we should go with that!

7 days is for those with symptoms, its 14 days for those without as that's the incubation period
