Hearing loss in 4year old

Dd had a virus about three weeks ago, bad cough, bit snotty, slight temperature. One night she woke up crying said her ear hurt, went back to sleep after some calpol and the next day said it was fine.

However since she’s recovered we’ve noticed she seems to have lost hearing. We have to call her name repeatedly and really raise our voice to get her attention then repeat ourselves constantly. She’s also obviously looking for visual clues as to what we’re talking about.

Will this resolve itself? Normally I’d go to the GP but if it’s nothing to worry about and just a post viral thing then I’d rather not take up their time at the moment...
